Gas rates 2026 (OGRA slabs)
These rates are the same for home users of SNGPL and SSGC. Tariff: OGRA domestic gas tariff, effective 1 July 2025 (unchanged for 2026-27). Every user gets the benefit of the previous slab: gas up to the previous slab is charged at that slab's rate and only the rest at the new rate. In the top slab, all gas is charged at one rate.

How to check your SSGC gas bill online
- Choose your company above and type the consumer number from your bill (11 digits for SNGPL, 10 for SSGC).

What is hm³?
Gas bills are in hm³ (hecto cubic metres). 1 hm³ = 100 cubic metres. The bill also shows how many MMBTU are in 1 hm³, and the price is charged per MMBTU.
How to lower your gas bill
- Turn the geyser thermostat down and switch it off at night; in winter the geyser uses the most gas.
- Keep stove burners clean and use a pressure cooker.
- Staying below 0.9 hm³ a month in winter keeps you on the cheaper protected rate.
