What this tool checks and what it does not
It looks at the title and its length, the meta description and its length, H1 and H2 headings, the canonical link, meta robots directives, the viewport tag, image alt attributes, internal and external links, Open Graph title and description, and the language attribute.
Length ranges (title about 30 to 60 characters, description about 70 to 160) are common guidelines, not rules set by search engines. A warning means "worth reviewing", not that the page is broken.
Not checked: live indexing, Core Web Vitals and speed, backlinks, server responses and redirects, robots.txt and sitemap files, structured data and content quality. Use Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights for these.
Frequently asked questions
Why can this tool not check any website address automatically?
Browsers do not allow a web page to read the code of another website. Doing so would need a server that fetches the page. This tool has no server, so it works on source code that you paste.
Is the HTML I paste uploaded or run?
No. It is parsed in your browser as plain text. Scripts inside it are never executed and nothing is sent anywhere.
Does this tool give an SEO score?
No. A score from partial information would be misleading. You get a checklist of what was actually checked, with Pass or Warning.
What does Not checked mean?
It lists things that matter for SEO but cannot be verified from pasted code, such as indexing, speed and backlinks.
Why does it say my title or description is missing?
If you pasted only part of the page, the head section may be missing. Paste the complete source from View page source.
Is one H1 per page required?
Search engines do not strictly require it, but one clear H1 is a widely recommended practice that helps readers and accessibility.
Can I use the report for a client?
You can copy it, but remember it covers basic on-page items only. Pair it with Search Console data for a full picture.
About the SEO Website Checker
The SEO website checker reviews a web page for common on-page issues: title, meta description, headings, images, links and other signals that affect how search engines understand and display the page.
Many business websites in Pakistan miss basic SEO settings, such as unique titles or descriptions, which makes it harder to rank even for their own services. A quick check shows what to fix first.
A checker cannot replace a full SEO audit, which looks at speed, indexing, content quality and backlinks, but it is a useful starting point.
