How it is calculated
Expected profit = (1 - return rate) x profit if not returned - return rate x loss per returned order
Break-even price = all fixed costs / (1 - commission % - payment %)
Price for target margin = all fixed costs / (1 - commission % - payment % - target %)
Worked example
- Price 50, product cost 12, shipping 6, packaging 1, fulfilment 3, ads 4: fixed costs = 26.
- Commission 15% + payment 2% = 8.50 on a price of 50. Profit if not returned = 50 - 8.50 - 26 = 15.50.
- With a 5% return rate and a loss of 8 per return: expected profit = 0.95 x 15.50 - 0.05 x 8 = 14.33 per order (28.7% margin).
- Break-even price = 26 / (1 - 0.17) = 31.33.

Frequently asked questions
Does this tool know the current Amazon, eBay or Daraz fees?
No. Fees differ by category and change often, so the tool does not assume any rate. Enter the commission and fixed fees from the marketplace's current fee page or your seller dashboard.
What should I include in product cost?
The full landed cost: what you pay for the product plus import, customs or delivery to your warehouse. Shipping to the customer and packaging have their own fields.
How are returns treated?
Returned orders earn nothing, and you lose the amount you enter as loss per returned order. The tool weights profit by your return rate to show an expected profit per order.
How do I show profit in Pakistani rupees?
Enter how many PKR one unit of your selling currency is worth, for example 280. The tool then shows profit in PKR as well.
What is the break-even price?
The lowest selling price at which you make zero profit on an order that is not returned, after fees and all costs.

About the Marketplace Fee and Profit Calculator
Marketplaces like Daraz, Amazon and others charge commissions, payment fees and sometimes shipping or fulfilment fees. These fees differ by category and can take a large share of the price. This calculator shows the profit left after marketplace fees and your own costs.
Sellers often price products as if the full price reaches them. Once commission, fees and returns are deducted, many products barely break even. Calculating before listing protects your margin.
Use it to set prices, compare marketplaces and decide which products are worth listing.
