How to use this tool
- Choose Invoice or Quotation, then enter the document number and dates.
- Add your business name, an optional logo and your customer details.
- Add one line per item or service with a quantity, unit price and optional discount.
- Enter the tax percentage and any additional charges if they apply.
- Press Preview document and check the totals.
- Press Print, or Save as PDF and choose "Save as PDF" as the destination in your browser's print window.
How the totals are calculated
Subtotal = sum of (quantity × unit price)
Item discounts = sum of line discounts
Tax = (subtotal − item discounts) × tax %
Total = subtotal − item discounts + tax + additional charges
Tax is applied after item discounts, so discounted amounts are not taxed. Additional charges are added after tax and are not taxed. Each line and each total is rounded to two decimal places.
Worked example
- Line 1: 2 × 5,000 = 10,000 with a 10% discount (1,000), line total 9,000
- Line 2: 1 × 3,000 = 3,000, no discount
- Subtotal 13,000, item discounts 1,000, amount after discounts 12,000
- Tax at 5%: 600
- Additional charges (delivery): 500
- Total: PKR 13,100.00

Is this invoice generator free?
Yes. It is free to use and needs no sign-up.
How do I save my invoice as a PDF?
Press Save as PDF (or Print). In the print window, choose "Save as PDF" as the destination and save the file. The exact wording depends on your browser.
Is my customer and business data uploaded anywhere?
No. The document is built in your browser. Your logo is read locally and is not uploaded. Data is saved on your device only if you press Save draft, and you can clear it at any time.
Is tax applied before or after discounts?
After. The tax percentage is applied to the amount left after item discounts. Additional charges are added after tax and are not taxed.
Can I make a quotation instead of an invoice?
Yes. Choose Quotation as the document type. The title, number prefix and date label change to suit a quotation.
Will the invoice meet tax requirements?
The tool does not check legal or tax compliance. Some countries require specific wording, numbering or registration details. Please confirm the rules with your accountant.
Why can I not see my logo after reloading?
Logos are only kept if you press Save draft, and very large images are not saved. Choose the logo again if needed.
