How the petrol price is set
The petrol price is made of the world oil price, the dollar rate, the petroleum levy, customs duty and the margins of oil companies and dealers. OGRA works out the numbers and the new price is notified, now almost every day, usually starting at midnight.
For businesses: if your delivery or courier costs depend on fuel, check your rates after every price change. Our selling price calculator helps with that.
